Soft watercolour trees

There was a special kind of early morning sunlight one morning this autumn that made everything appear wonderfully soft and calm. I tried to capture the feeling of that here.

Project 4550 - Mediterranean Villagers

For this project, I created Seraphine Morel, owner of a small bakery in the Provence. I pictured her as an elegant, charming lady with a guilty conscience due to being romantically involved with the greengrocer despite being married.
